The end of 2017 is an especially interesting and busy time for our firm and we would like to share some exciting news as we head in to the New Year. Effective December 15th, 2017, Doug Goldberg and I [Kevin Forbush] have decided to separate our practices and continue serving the Southern Colorado community independently. Forbush Legal, PLLC began service on Friday, December 15th.
As part of our transition to Forbush Legal, PLLC, we are also excited to announce the addition of two new team members to support our growing practice! In July we hired Tim Connors, a former Coast Guard Judge Advocate (JAG) who retired as Chief Counsel of NORAD & USNORTHCOM and settled here in Colorado Springs with his wife and three daughters. Tim has been working and practicing law here in the local community for the last few years and will be serving as my Partner focusing on estate and Medicaid planning.
In November we added attorney Julia Paris as an associate attorney. Julia studied law at Northwestern University, worked for a time for the Internal Revenue Service, and brings a wealth of tax and other experience to our estate and business planning practices. Besides adding a couple of new team members, all the familiar faces and voices remain on the Forbush Legal team.
We remain committed to the family focused values and principles that have always set us apart from other local firms. With our energetic new team in place we are extremely confident that we will continue to provide the best in class client-focused legal services and professionalism that you are accustomed to.
Thank you so much for your continued faith and trust. We appreciate and value our relationship with each and every one of you. You are the keys to our success. The entire Forbush Legal team is truly excited for the new beginnings that 2018 will bring!
